It was a simple text message during Ivy's lunch hour.

Hi sexy! Caleb's gma is in the ladies room. I'm not being rude texting you! Haha. She just informed me that 'my young man' needs to meet my parents. Suffice it to say, she didn't mean my dead ones. She has invited you to a dinner party, to be determined. How do you feel about meeting Caleb's grandparents?

"Hey." He smiles, leaning back against her, tilting his face up and reaching to pull her down for a kind of upside-down kiss. "I didn't even hear you come in. When did you become a ninja?"

She goes in for another kiss real fast before answering. "If I told you that, I'd have to kill you. Ninja rules, I'm told." She pulls his chair out and perches on his lap. "How was your afternoon?" It should be noted she hasn't bothered to kick off her heels yet. Talk about talented ninja-ing!

Extremely talented. Or he could possibly have been half-sleep or daydreaming, too. That could have helped.

"Quiet and a bit boring," he answers, letting his arms circle her waist loosely. "How was yours?"

"Not terrible. It could have definitely been worse." She settles into his arms, makes herself comfortable. "My boss has plans on expanding the hotel, which is... both terrifying and exciting at the same time."

"Why is that terrifying?" Or, well.. He supposes that it will mean more work, but...

"He wants to add on another wing, for starters, maybe even make it two stories instead of the one. And possibly cater to a higher-paying clientele. I can handle it, and honestly I'd prefer it, but I'd miss some of our regulars and the like."

"Right. With change there's change." Gain some and lose some. He can understand that. "So tell me about this dinner, then. When and where?"

"This Sunday, at their house. I'm told I need to call her with your favorite food." She grins. "She also said as long as it was able to found in her world." Ivy had finally come completely clean with Jessica and her husband, and had brought them inside the Nexus to her neighborhood. It had been..eye opening.

"So that means that Ankh-Morpork pork is out of the question, then?" He doesn't even know if that's a thing or not. "But, eh, I don't really have much of a preference." He eats a bit of everything, as his cooking tends to prove. "But I'm not getting away with that answer, am I?"

"I don't even know what that is," Ivy says, frowning. "But no, that won't be enough. I could always tell her my fave foods."

Ankh-Morpork? From the Diskworld series?" He did love him some humor and fantasy books.

"Or, just for the sake of picking something, how about salmon?" Having spent the best parts of his childhood and teenage years living by the sea had turned him into a fan of fish and seafood in general.

She chuckles. "I haven't read that before, honey. I'll put it on the list, though. Salmon works. Any particular preparation?"

"Naah. Don't want to be dictating details here." Plus, he likes surprises."

She kisses his neck. "Alrighty. I'll let her know.' Smile. "You realize she's going to show her place off. And Caleb will want to show you his room."

"I'm counting on it, yes." He steals another kiss, smiling. "I think I can cope."

"You're so sweet." More kisses. "...You know, Caleb wanted to spend the night with a friend."

"Oh, so you mean we'll have the place to ourselves tonight?" Some alone time is always nice.

"It would be a change." Caleb had been a little clingy since his dad had shown up. "Just a few houses down, though, and the family is nice."

"Is he there already?" Or in other words, should Casper keep behaving for a while longer?

"Mmhm. He'd wanted to eat dinner over there, too, since Kyle's mom was making spaghetti. I guess we could go out."

"Or we could stay in." Now that he knows that they have the rest of the day and night to themselves, Casper is quick to seize the opportunity. Leaning in for a more passionate kiss, he lets his fingers drift up under her shirt to stroke over the warm, smooth skin on her lower back.

She just sort of leans into him, letting those passionate little kisses trail down over his jawline. "We could, yes. Order in.. or is somethin' else on the menu?"

"Mmmhm." The first thing on the menu, if he gets his way, is her. He's inching her shirt up now, making no secret as to what he wants.

Ivy leans back a little bit, and shoos his hand away. She starts to unbutton her dress shirt.

He grins, leaning back to just look at her. He can hardly believe at times that they're engaged.

This chair is not a good place for this, however. So he takes a sturdy hold of her hips and with a bit of effort stands up to carry her to the bedroom and lay her down on the bed.

She chuckles a bit as they make their way to the bedroom, then starts pressing kisses along his neck again.

"Impatient?'

"Eager," he grins back, hands going to unbutton what few buttons remained on her shirt. Once open he trails his lips down her neck, over her collarbones and down to the top of her breasts.

Ivy hadn't ever been the type of girl to buy sexy underthings just 'cause she could. It wasn't until she'd met Casper that she wanted to. Her breasts are cupped quite well by a white and soft pink bra - a set she'd gotten when she'd gotten past her first year of college in celebration. La Perla is not cheap.

"You're always so eager for me. It's nice." Her back arches slightly, and she pushes those lovely breasts into his face.

While Casper does have the sense to appreciate sexy underthings - he is the kind of guy who actually notices - he is still far more interested in the woman wearing them.

"Of course I am," he murmurs against her skin, hands coming up to cup and softly knead those breasts. "I like to think I'm the luckiest guy in the world."

Ivy makes a soft, happy, purr-y noise as her back arches into those very capable hands. "And I'm the luckiest woman."

"Aren't we both lucky?" Smiling as he nuzzles against her skin, he slides his hands down her flat belly to the top of her pants, working on getting them undone.

There's a hot little gasp, and she immediately moves to help him remove her pants. "You are decidedly too clothed, Casper," she says softly.

"Mmmhm?" He leans back as he pulls her pants off her legs. "Feel free to do something about it." If not distracted, he'll be going to get rid of those pretty underthings next.

And once she's gotten the panties off, Ivy decides it's high time that she gets her hands all over that skin of his. She goes for his belt.
